Grand Mass Wedding Ceremony by Bhagwan Agrasen Charitable Foundation on March 15
13th year of the initiative; commitment to solemnize marriages of 51 couples
Pune: Upholding social responsibility and extending support to poor and needy families, the Bhagwan Agrasen Charitable Foundation will organize its annual grand mass wedding ceremony on Sunday, March 15, 2026. This information was shared by Foundation Trustee Rajesh Agrawal at a press conference.
On this occasion, Jaikishan Goyal, Saraswati Goyal, Mahavir Ratanlal Goyal, Vinod Agrawal, Seema Agrawal, Manoj Agrawal, and other dignitaries were present.
In the backdrop of growing social and economic inequality in today’s times, mass wedding ceremonies have become a necessity of the hour, and such initiatives truly embody humanitarian service, Agrawal said. The event is being organized to mark the 73rd birthday of senior social worker Ratanlal Goyal.
He further stated that the excessive expenses involved in wedding ceremonies today are pushing many families into financial distress. In particular, the responsibility of a daughter’s marriage has become a major burden for parents. In such circumstances, mass wedding ceremonies convey a positive message of unity, cooperation, and social responsibility in society.
Each couple participating in the ceremony will be gifted essential household items such as a cupboard, fan, mattress, bedsheet, mixer, household shrine (devhara), and a complete set of utensils. In addition, the bride and groom will be provided with a complete set of clothing, a mangalsutra, and other necessary wedding materials.
The religious ceremony, conducted according to Hindu traditions, will be held at the grand Goyal Garden, spread across three acres, in front of Aimata Temple, Gangadham Road, Pune. This year marks the 13th edition of the initiative. Last year, the marriages of 25 couples were solemnized successfully. Over the past 12 years, a total of 241 couples have been married through this ceremony. This year, the organizers have pledged to solemnize marriages of 51 couples.
Marriage registration for this mass wedding ceremony is completely free. Interested and needy couples from Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune Rural, Kolhapur, as well as regions of Western Maharashtra, Marathwada, and the Nashik area are requested to contact 9049992560 / 9422025049.
Expressing confidence, Rajesh Agrawal stated that this initiative, born out of the Goyal family’s strong social consciousness, will provide poor, destitute, and underprivileged sections of society with a dignified opportunity to begin a new chapter of married life.
