“Through business, we take a lot from society; therefore, it is our responsibility to give something back to society,” said Sushil Biyani, Director of Tapadia Life Sciences.
He was speaking to reporters at the inauguration ceremony of Tapadia Life Sciences’ new state-of-the-art office. The new facility was inaugurated at the hands of Brijlal Biyani and Usha Biyani. On this occasion, dignitaries such as Omprakash Tapadia, Jugal Kishor Tapadia, Anup Tapadia, Dr. Vishal Tapadia, Sunil Shah, and Prashant Agarwal were present.
Biyani said, “Tapadia Life Sciences was established in 2008 with the aim of creating an independent and efficient system for the timely and responsible supply of essential and rare medicines. We carefully provide life-saving medicines required for the treatment of serious diseases such as cancer, ICU & critical care, immunology, nephrology, ophthalmology, hematology, plasma products, HV (high-value) therapies, and rheumatology. These include injections and medicines ranging from ₹100 to ₹5 lakh.”
Tapadia Life Sciences currently supplies medicines to more than 500 hospitals across the state. Of the total supply, 70% of the medicines are provided directly to hospitals, while the remaining are supplied to major pharmacies and distributors.
The company distributes rare medicines from 55 leading and reputed multinational pharmaceutical manufacturers in the country. Biyani shared that Tapadia Life Sciences holds exclusive distribution rights for certain speciality medicines in Maharashtra and South India.
“Use of advanced technology, adherence to international standards, and a precise system that ensures timely delivery of medicines directly to patients are the hallmarks of our service,” Biyani added. He further explained that the company places special emphasis on maintaining medicine quality through proper temperature control, disciplined storage, and minimal human handling.
Tapadia Life Sciences operates branches in Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Nashik, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The company has a strong supply network across Western Maharashtra, North Maharashtra, and Marathwada, and is determined to expand nationwide soon, Biyani said.
