MoU Signed Between Symbiosis Skills
& Professional University and National Defence Academy (NDA)
Uniting courage, knowledge, and opportunity—Symbiosis Skills & Professional University charts a new path for the future through collaborative effort.
Pune, 25 June 2025 – A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Symbiosis Skills & Professional University (SSPU) and the National Defence Academy (NDA). This partnership opens new doors to higher education for NDA cadets who are boarded out due to medical or other reasons, announced Dr. Swati Mujumdar, Pro-Chancellor of SSPU.
Through this initiative, eligible cadets will receive direct admission into equivalent B.Tech and BBA degree programs, including the recently introduced B.Tech in Defence Technology. For those who do not meet eligibility requirements, bridge courses will be offered to ensure that no student’s hard work, struggle, or critical academic years go to waste.
Distinguished attendees at the signing included Prof. Dr. O.P. Shukla, GP Capt. Ramani, Dr. Pragya Bajpai, Squadron Leader Krishna, and Major Sumit Ojha.
This collaboration aims to sustain motivation among students and support their continued pursuit of career goals. The core purpose of this initiative is to offer cadets a second chance at building a bright future through education. It presents a meaningful opportunity for students to elevate their career trajectory and transform setbacks into success.
